Obituary for Wesley F Marshall

WESLEY F. MARSHALL
CAMDEN………..Wesley Frank Marshall, 69, of Camden passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 17, 2019, at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington, MA, after an extended illness. Born in Camden on April 28, 1950, he was the son of Herbert and Carolyn Candage Marshall and was a 1969 graduate of Camden-Rockport High School.
Wesley spent many years on boats, scalloping, lobstering, and sword fishing, and over 25 years as a delivery driver for Viking Lumber.
Wes was known for his sarcasm and rarely called you by your given name, instead using one that he made up for you. He loved his dogs, Golden Retrievers and Newfoundlands, and took them for daily walks on the trails of Ragged Mountain in his back yard, always meeting special friends along the way. Wes loved the outdoors, and spent his summers fishing off Fang Island at the family camp on Megunticook Lake. Fall was for hunting and winter was for ice fishing and snowmobiling.
The family is very grateful to the medical staff at Lahey Medical Center for their excellent care during Wes’ extended stay there.
Surviving are his mother, Carolyn (Peachie) Marshall of Camden and Lakeland, FL; his three children whom he loved dearly: Joshua Marshall and his wife Ali of Colorado; Aron Marshall of Camden; and Shelby Marshall and partner Shane Otis of Searsmont; Elise Marshall of Camden; two grandchildren, Max and Molly Marshall of Colorado; three brothers: Wayne Marshall, Warren Marshall and wife Paula of Camden, and William Marshall and wife Melissa of Hope; two sisters: Wanda Lassiter of Lakeland, FL, and Wendy Brown and husband Michael of Camden; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
