CAMDEN…………………….Valerie M. Umstead, 77, passed away at the Sussman House in Rockport on July 6, 2020. She was born on August 27, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland and was the daughter of George and Violet Cohan.
Valerie will be remembered for her love of dance - whenever and wherever she heard music, she would start dancing. She was a very giving person and loved to send heartfelt cards for every birthday and holiday to family and friends. Valerie will be greatly missed.
Surviving is her daughter Desiree Fewster and husband, Glenn, of Baltimore, Maryland; her son David Umstead and wife, Rachael, of Union; and Kelly Musgrave and husband Tom, of Southlake, TX; grandchildren Tricia Bittner, Colby Musgrave, Henry Umstead, and Hudson Umstead; great-grandchildren Triana, Noah, Sophia and Olivia.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Baltimore, Maryland. Arrangements are with the Long Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 9 Mountain Street, Camden.
