DOVER FOXCROFT……………………Marlene Wentworth Dodge, 71, formerly of Rockport, died on
December 24, 2022 at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. Born in Camden on August 4,
1951, she was the daughter of Francis and Marjorie (Andrews) Wentworth. She was a member of the
Class of 1969 of Camden High School and married Leforest Dodge on September 13, 1969.
Marlene enjoyed working at Passmore Lumber Company, E. C. Hart & Son, and E.B.S. in Camden.
Knowing most of the customers and contractors, Marlene with her outgoing and friendly personality,
was always willing to go the extra mile to help.
Her hobbies included sewing, reading, cooking and baking. She especially enjoyed teaching her
granddaughters how to bake. In addition, Marlene and Lee enjoyed their time travelling in their RV, and
motorcycling.
Predeceased by her husband, Leforest Dodge, Marlene is survived by her two children, Todd Dodge of
Dover Foxcroft and Angela Dodge of Rockport; brother, Randall Grover and his wife Chemge, of Fox
River Grove, IL; and three grandchildren, Joshua Dodge, Katherine Gother and her husband, Aidan,
Robert Gieseman; great-grandchildren, Akira and Kyara.
