I could go on for days about the many memories I had with my Papa. He was the most hard working man I had ever met. He was loving and compassionate. Please look over all of us Papa. I love and miss you ❤️

I was very sad to read of Joel's death this week. My husband, Perry Gates, and I bought "the Morse farm" from Joel and Margaret back in 1984. Joel was a great guide and mentor as we learned to work that big place. He was very hard working, unassuming, patient and always kind to us. Every year as we still struggle to swap out the rotary mower or the wood splitter or the chipper on our tractor, Perry and I always have a good chuckle and remember Joel saying, "It's easier to have a different tractor for each piece of equipment so you do not have to swap them out!" After we left the farm in Hope we lost touch with the Morse's but our fondness never faded. We extend our sincere condolences for the loss of Joel.
