Obituary for Glenn Anne Perry

GLENN ANNE PERRY

BELFAST………………Glenn Anne Perry, 85, of Belfast, died on September 23, 2019 at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Born in Bath on January 4, 1934, she was the daughter of Norman Ray and Mary (Lawrence) Perry and attended schools in Long Island, New York and in Belfast.
In Belfast and Long Island, New York, Glenn lived with her mother for many years. She enjoyed owning poodles as pets, and loved animals. Glenn trained her parakeets to talk and was very generous with her family and friends. Her maternal grandfather named one of his sardine carriers, the “Glenn Geary” after Glenn and her sister, Geary.
Since the opening of The Residence at Tall Pines, Glenn has enjoyed living there. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to several caregivers including Debra, Beth, Cindy, and the staff at Tall Pines.
Surviving is her sister, Geary Tibbetts of Belfast; brother, Daniel Perry of Ghent, NY; nephews, Daniel Perry, Jr., Richard A. Tibbetts; nieces, Lori Ann Cocca, Rebecca Greene and Mary Delli-Pizzi; and several grand nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Sharon Payson Perry.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service to be held at 11AM, Friday, October 4, 2019 at Grove Cemetery in Belfast. A memorial gathering will be held at 1pm, Saturday, October 5, 2019 at her sister’s home, 50 Ocean Street in Belfast. Memorial gifts may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
