Obituary for Bonnie O. Burns

CAMDEN - Bonnie Ogden Burns, 69, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 11, 2020 in Camden.
Bonnie was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on June 1, 1950. She grew up in Bedford, MA, and graduated from Bedford High School in 1968. Bonnie lived in Carlisle, MA until 1983, when she and her family moved to Appleton. She resided in Camden for the past 22 years.

Bonnie spent the majority of her life as a homemaker then went on to work at a few stores in Camden, Maine. Most people remember her from the Camden Reny’s where she worked for many years.
While Bonnie contended with peripheral vascular disease for a number of years, she was a true champion; she stayed strong and kept on smiling. Her SMILE – that is what everyone remembers.
Bonnie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved granddaughter Jade. Bonnie enjoyed camping, and took pride in her time as Campground Host at Lake Saint George State Park last summer. Helping at the campground, and camping with her family, brought her great happiness.

From her medical team to neighbors, community members and friends and family, all that knew her, adored Bonnie. Her sweet smile, contagious laugh, and positive attitude made Bonnie a person you couldn’t help but love. She will be missed!

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Buffy Ludwick, son-in-law Blaze Ludwick, and granddaughter Jade Ludwick of Searsmont, as well as by her son Shane Burns and daughter-in-law Deborah Burns of Appleton. Also by her brother Blake Ogden and sister-in-law Sidney Hendrickson of Edmond, Oklahoma, her sister Deborah Park of Raymond, NH, nieces Brittany Pepper of Candia, NH and Alyssa Park of Manchester, NH, nephews Jason Park of Raymond, NH, Frank Garfield of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin and John Garfield of Champlin, Minnesota.
